A TIME TO KEEP

THE SEVEN LIVES OF THE BUSH KID FROM DRIK DRIK

Reflection on the many unexpected changes in my search for meaning led me to a new awareness of the Hebrew philosopher's assertion: To everything there is a season and a time for every purpose.

Memory enables me to reflect on the social construction of reality mediated through the family and friends who have shared the journey of life with me in love and integrity, and for whom I have a 'time to keep'. My journey from childhood to retirement has encompassed SEVEN major work and human relationship experiences which I have sub-titled, 'The seven lives of the bush kid from Drik Drik'. These experiences are not chronological but linked together by a common theme.

1. LIFE IN THE BUSH
2. TO REMAIN A TRAVELLER ON THE ROAD OF LIFE
3. A
TIME TO REND AND A TIME TO SEW
4. THE FRONT DOOR TO NORTH AUSTRALIA
5. LAND OF THE DREAMING
6. THE WILDERNESS AND SOLITARY PLACE
7. THE
CREATIVE YEARS
